FAQ: General

Candles are important tools used in a witch's craft. They can be burned as offerings to spirit guides, ancestors and deities, or they are crafted into a spell based on the intent of the practitioner (i.e. abundance, healing, love).

The color of the candle may represent specific desires (i.e. red for love, purple for intuition, blue for healing). With the addition of dressing the candle in oils and herbs that correlate to an intent, it is believed to add potency to the overall spellwork and attunes it to the witch's purposes.

My work specializes in crafting ritual-ready candles that have been thoughtfully anointed and dressed for you based on different objectives. To learn more about what my handmade candles are made from, please scroll down the faq page to 'Candle Care.'

I am a one-woman shop, therefore I can only make so much on my own.

I tend to update my shop every month with offering candles, seasonal tapers, and occasionally handmade seashell journals. These updates operate on a first come first serve basis.

I will always announce the exact restock date and time through my online newsletters and through Instagram stories. You will also see details of my restock in the black banner at the top of my website!

If you ordered from a PRE ORDER CANDLE UPDATE on July 7th of 2024, please expect a processing time of 2-4 months so I can craft your offering candles with care. Once your order ships, we'll send you a tracking email.

Currently, my custom orders are closed.

On Candles: I do not accept returns or issue refunds for any candles. While I always make sure to pack orders very carefully, sometimes the delivery process is still chaotic and harsh on the parcel. If you selected ‘Priority Mail’ as your shipment option, your package has insurance of up to $100. It is up to you to file a claim with your local post office for reimbursement.
I do not send replacements for damaged candles. They should still burn fine even with the damage.

For all Other Goods: Again, if you selected priority mail, your parcel already has insurance up to $100. If your package is within that amount, it is up to *you* to file a claim with your postal service for full reimbursement. In the unlikely event that your package comes damaged, please send me a photo of the damaged item in the package it was sent in within 24 hours of receiving your order. I will refund you on the goods only if you complete the above in 24 hours. If it is not within that timeframe, you will not be refunded.

It's frustrating, I know, but once I drop your orders off at the post office, whatever happens next is out of my control. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you are worried about the safety of your package, please email me to purchase additional insurance on your package within 24 hours as I am very quick with processing orders (note: all USPS parcels shipped with Priority Mail already have insurance up to $100). If your package goes missing, I kindly ask you to contact the shipping provider to file a theft report here. All candle sales are final and I do not accept returns or offer refunds.

I am very quick when it comes to processing times-- usually within 1-2 days (depending on the amount of orders and what you've purchased).

PRE ORDERS: If you ordered candles from the PRE ORDER CANDLE UPDATE, please expect a processing time of 2-4 months so I can craft your offering candles with care. Once your order ships, we'll send you a tracking email.

Shipping is always sent out via USPS Priority Mail or First Class- whichever shipping method you pick, and includes a tracking number. You will be emailed once your order has been shipped out.

I ship internationally! However, please note that overseas shipping takes a significantly longer amount of time to receive. I cannot guarantee that your order will get to you by a specific date.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS: There is a sales tax (the amount depends on the order value) that you will be asked to pay for upon delivery. I am not responsible for this charge, so please consider this before purchasing from my shop.

Lastly, and again, I am not responsible for lost packages.

Candle Care

Are your candles dripless?

No, they are not dripless. I find that dripless candles are only possible with a paraffin based wax. My ritual candles are made with 100% beeswax and a touch of soy, sourced from Nevada. I blend the two together to purposefully create a magical dripping look as the candle burns. They are dressed with herbs that I either forage or source from a local botanist.

Because these candles are coated in herbs, please be mindful of the flame. The more herbs there are, the larger the flame may get.

NEVER EVER leave a lit candle unattended.

What kind of candle holder should I use?

You may use any regular candleholder as long as you're okay with the wax dripping over it (you can easily clean your candle holder by using a blow dryer to remelt the hardened wax and wiping it off with a paper towel).

The diameter of my candlesticks are a bit smaller than the standard 7/8 inch, measuring at about 5/6 inch instead. If the candles fit loose in your candleholder, I suggest melting a bit of the candle wax into your candle holder to act as a glue that will hold your candlestick. Personally, I like to use small jars and bowls so the wax pools all into one place.
