Offering candles to Hestia, Greek goddess of the home, the hearth, family, and hospitality. She is the sister to both Demeter and Hera and bears the representation as the kindest of all the Olympian spirits. She is said to be modest, humble, but exceptionally powerful for protection. When Dionysus ascended to Mount Olympus, there were no seats for him within the pantheon. Hestia, needing no persuasion or incentive, rose from her seat to settle next to her hearth instead, giving up her throne to Dionysus. To leave an offering for Hestia, simply burn the in a fireplace or cauldron.

Hestia's colors were crafted in shades of sandstone and pumpkin with drips of apricot. They represent the tame fires within a hearth, and the presiding, gentle spirit of the home.

Because these candles drip so easily, it's the perfect time to practice some candle divination, also known as Carromancy. Watch how the candle burns. Do you see figures in the wax? Do the flames flicker, grow tall, or hiss? Is there a certain direction in the way the wax is melting? These ritual candles may hold more secrets than you know.

ɪᴛᴇᴍ ᴅᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ: Two 6 inch pillar candles rolled in locally sourced herbs.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: These candles are best used for decoration on your altar. Should you plan to burn them, be wary of the flame. The more herbs, the BIGGER and taller the flame with be. Always supervise your candles while burning. These candles have very burnable botanicals.
