A pair of ebony tapers, devoted to the work of protection. Burn them upon the altar to petition your guardians and guides, to fortify the home against unwanted forces, before travels, or in rites of warding and banishment.

May their flames rise as watchful sentinels—steadfast in their keeping, unwavering in their guard.

The upper half of the candle is left bare, an open space to inscribe further specifications— be it keywords, sigils, or petitions. The lower half is dressed in herbs associated with protection, hex removal, and healing.
